Upp som en sol, ner som en pannkaka
Hi friends!
You know the incredibly disappointing feeling when you've worked your ass off for something and it just hits you like really fucking hard in the face? Literally my math test today. JKAJQPQLQKHWS
So I got home and decided to have a killer workout and just shake those feelings off and now I feel a lot better. I guess sometimes that's all you can do..

Now I'm about to hit the shower, put on something comfy clothes and just make the best out of the rest of this day. Because after all that's all I can do. Kram på er solstrålar,

Lately I have really gotten back to working out again and it feels so good. Today I'm bummed that I can't work out due to lack of time... I left my house @7:20am and I won't be back until tonight because of school, Amnesty meeting and math tutoring... There's just no time today and it sucks :(

:(
Late night workout
Yes 8:30 is "late night" in my world, hehe... I told you about this huge test in economics coming up tomorrow and I've spent hours studying for it today so it came to a point when I just had enough. So I threw my economics books to hell and went out for an awesome run in the drizzle with Vilmisen. Now we're finishing it up with some workouts at home - or Vilma is, I already finished;)
So I'm about to hit the shower and then get ready for bed. Fridaaaaay tomorrow - finally! After school I'm hanging out with Frida baby, haven't seen her in a while so I'm excited to the max.
Natti,

Det svåraste att prata om
Hm... This is a difficult topic and in fact I think it has gotten more difficult because everyone has become OBSESSED with working out recently. My view on the topic is actually pretty simple: Work out or exercise because you enjoy it or because you know it makes you feel good. If you only work out in order to achieve a dream or ideal body, I think it's unhealthy. And I can't say I'm the perfect example or role model when it comes to this, because I'm not. Working out in combination with not eating enough is not only unhealthy, but dangerous - believe me I've been there and in fact maybe to some extent still am.
My relationship with working out has changed a lot throughout the years and I believe it has been both healthy and unhealthy. At the age of 10-16 I played basketball intensely and at that point I never considered the game as a way to exercise or lose weight - NEVER. Basketball used to be a big part, or maybe even the biggest part of my life when I was in 7-9 grade. It meant everything. However when I attended gymnasium I put more value in order things, such as school, friends, parties etc. I still played basketball and even though I would never admit it to anyone at this point, I did put less value in basketball and I realized that my infinitely love for the game was fading away... At this point I also started running a lot and I also lost a lot of weight during this year. This is something I don't talk about, because it has been and still is a very sensitive topic for me to cover.
When I was 16 I moved to California where I at first started play basketball for the high school team but after a few months I found it too serious and my interest wasn't that big anymore. I also felt I wanted to have more free time to discover the amazing state of California so I quit the team. This was the most difficult thing (apart from leaving the country a year later) I ever had to do. Although people in my surrounding expected me to play when I came back to Sweden I knew at an unconscious level that that wasn't going to be the case.
I instead joined the running team for long distance for Paly's Track and Field team. And I looooved it. Running has always been something I enjoyed, however the interest grew more and more. Well back in Sweden I kept up with the running and although it's been up and down lately due to plenty of school work, long days in school as well as very bad weather conditions, I have been running more or less every since I quit basketball. Additionally I always finish up my work outs with strength and stretching. I work out for two reasons; I want my body to stay fit however I would not be able to do this if I didn't actually enjoy working out as well as the feeling after which is my other reason for working out.
Since I have had plenty of questions on this topic I hope you had some answers in this blog post. If not I'm always open to answer them for you. You know the drill at this point; either through a comment or email: matildawarvne@gmail.com

Borta bra men hemma bäst
I was so incredibly tired when we got home last night - literally fell asleep on the couch at 9ish and then I went up to my beloved and missed princess bed and slept like a little child throughout the night. This morning I went up and immediately made myself a cup of coffee and got started on my IOP and I finished! HELL YEAH. All I need to do now is to practice it...
It's so sunny and beautiful out so I think I'll go out running. Love the fact that I have this entire week to only focus on homework and working out. Lovely,
MATILDA

Love having more free time and energy to work out.

Yummi in my tummy. New flavor!

Hi all my beautiful readers!
First of all I have to say wow thank you to all the adorable response/comments I had after being on Synas today. You have no idea how happy it makes me!
I got home from school @5ish and changed in to PLENTY of layers to go out running. It was more snow than I had expected and even though I was wearing my spikes it was a challenge. But I got a good 45 minutes run and finished up with some strength and yoga positions as usual. MY BODY FEELS GREAT.
Now about two hours later I just finished my English homework and Psychology essay and my brain's basically dead - it craves the stupidity of an episode of Paradise Hotel, hehe...
PUSS PÅ ER MINA ÄNGLAR,

Happy Friday!
Although I have a late start today I decided to sleep in and not to work out this morning because my legs were super sore since yesterday. But for some reason I woke up at 7:15 and really felt like working out after all. I always run so I figured I should do some biking instead and MAN I'm sweaty!
The perks with working out indoor is that I can watch all of these silly TV-shows at the same time... 😉
Last night Alexander surprised me at my house and stepped by after his work around 8ish for some cuddling on the couch with me. He's just so sweet 😊
Tonight I'm celebrating Jade and Johanna who both turned 18 this month!
Keep smiling, keep shining

Good morning loves!
This morning I could finally work out again and I love it so much. I'm sort of addicted to exercise and it makes me feel so lazy and tired without it. I went out running with Josefine who had a late start today. After running I did my usual strength but I added some weights in order to build some arm muscles, because I'm embarrassingly weak...

Färgglatt
Hi people!
Just got back from a morning run with my bestie Rebecca! This morning I really thought about the fact that it does matter what clothing you're wearing when you work out. For instance, I definitely prefer color more than anything else. I do got some, which looks extra good on now during summer when I still got my tan from California. Probably less good in a few months when I turn all pale though... But for
some reason I feel that working out is easier when you have comfortable and good looking clothes on. It also depends on the sport/exercise you are performing. For example, I wouldn't go play basketball in spandex or do bikram (hot yoga) in an oversize t-shirt.
The running/yoga clothing I found online below are from Nike and Lululemon: http://www.nike.com/se/en_gb/ and http://shop.lululemon.com/home.jsp
CHECK THEM OUT!

Tjörn runt
... Or not really but we finished strong after 10 km. It's a beautiful Swedish summer day so I can't wait until Rebecca comes over so we can put our bathing suits on and hit the beach!
What are your plans today?

Look at my new running shoes! Aren't they adorable? They are from Asics, which is the brand I always get because they fit my feet very well. Asics is pretty expensive, but I've never gotten disappointed with any of their shoes and since my dad loves them as well we are faithful costumers of theirs.
I really like the colors and since they are super comfy I can't wait to go out and try them tomorrow morning! What do you guys think?

Hi!
This morning I realized how much I love to work out, it's like an addiction to me. I need that special amount of exercise everyday both for my body and soul. I'm also the kind of person that wouldn't stay satisfied with 30 minutes of walking - I need a real workout that makes me tired. I'd rather be dying after a workout than getting the feeling that I could have gone harder. Therefore running is always the most preferable kind of workout to me, with either company or music. I usually run everything between 5-10 km, but usually around 8.
The feeling after a workout is always so amazing too. I always do some strength and stretching and then I'm done. I almost always work out in the mornings so that I can feel that I'm done for the day early.
THUMBS UP FOR WORKING OUT!
XOXO
TILLY ❤
