Hi people!
Just had THE BEST dinner my parents cooked. Dad grilled peppers and meat and my mom made carrots and different kinds of cabbage in the oven, salad and homemade tzatziki. Look how yummi it looks!
Tomorrow morning I think Rebecca is coming over to my place to hang out. The sun is supposed to be out so hopefully we can go to the beach. Around 1,2 my cousins will arrive!

If you're like me and never been in a real relationship or had feelings for anyone ever it's highly likely that you will be able to relate to this post.
We are all unique and different things attract different people. Do you guys have a "dream-guy"? For instance, does "the one" need to be brown-eyed and tall for you to feel attracted to him? To me, I don't have any specific requirements he needs to fulfill in order for me to like him, but recently I've realized how outrageously picky I am - it's almost ridiculous. I can find a lot of guys attractive but there are three specific things I just can't take no matter how good-looking a guy is; if he's super confident and brags a lot, if he slaps my butt in order to get my attention or if he opens his mouth and acts like a complete dick to me or friends of his or mine.
But there are a lot less obvious things that can make me lose interest in a guy. Think about it, we are SO PICKY: He needs to be attractive but he is not gonna make a big deal out of it, he has to play hard to get but not too unavailable, he needs to pay attention to me but he needs to have his own life, he needs to be able to make jokes and make me laugh but at the same time he has to have the ability to be serious when I want him to, he needs to turn me on but not be disgusting, he needs to dress well but not spend more time in front of the mirror in the mornings than I do. I could go on forever with this list, but I think you get my point in this?
But then again nobody's perfect so maybe Mr. X doesn't need to have all of those qualities in order to make a perfect boyfriend to me, who knows? More experienced people I've talked to about this subject say that when you fall in love it's the best feeling ever and all of those silly things I just listed don't matter any more...

For of those of you who didn't know I'm not 18 yet. At this point basically all of my friends are already but me. Of course I missed a whole bunch of their parties though since I was in the US. But since all of my closest friends in Cali turned 18 as well, I got to celebrate theirs and thus attend fun American parties - yes, with them red cups, haha...
Today it's actually less than 2 months until my birthday and I've prepped a wish list already. I'll give your more specific information with pictures and such while it's approaching, but here are the basic things I wish to get right now.

Double shot of espresso och en bra bok
I literally had no plans today which has become very unusual to me these days. I worked out this morning and at noon mommy, daddy, Vilma and I had lunch at Nordevik in Skärhamn. Then we visited the library and I got a couple books in English I wanted.
When we got back the sun was out so I sat on the porch a while just reading, having a double shot of espresso and was having a relaxing time.
On Thursday my cousins are arriving and I'm really excited to see them again, since I haven't seen them since I got back from the US. On Friday I'm going back to Gothenburg and the guys wanted to take us to Skara Sommarland so if everything works out fine we will probably do that.
Saturday is supposed to be super hot weather so during the day we're hopefully going swimming somewhere and later that night the girls are having dinner at Evelina's to later attend a huge party that everyone's looking forward to.
I have super duper fun plans for next Wednesday, but I'll tell you about those later...

Holy shit, this day has certainly been the absolute definition of a perfect summer day. Rebecca and I woke up at 9ish and had morning coffee on the porch. And we were both surprised by the really good weather, since we thought it was supposed to be cold all day.
We packed a lunch and my dad took us out boating with Vilma and mommy and it was an absolutely gorgeous day. Later my dad, Rebecca and I went running together and we ended up taking a quick swim and the water was so warm and refreshing.
Now Rebecca just left and I had salmon for dinner on the porch with the fam.
Rebecca and I have known each other for so long, but after we both got back from the US it feels like we have gotten even closer. We're super similar and basically love all the same things, it's almost ridiculous. Cheers for having a best friend, much love to you homie!
Since Rebecca needed to borrow a life jacket I took my very old one which is tiny. Good thing I didn't fall into the water, because I don't think it would have given me support for shit, haha...

Rebecca and I got ready together at my house and later around 8, daddy drove us to Mathilda's. She has her own kind of apartment right next to her house and it's super cute. It really made me wanna move out and get my own place!
We had a couple of drinks and some homemade absolutely delicious desserts that Mathilda had made herself. We ended the night at Haddocks and around 2 daddy picked me and Rebecca up and she spent the night at my place!

Look at my new running shoes! Aren't they adorable? They are from Asics, which is the brand I always get because they fit my feet very well. Asics is pretty expensive, but I've never gotten disappointed with any of their shoes and since my dad loves them as well we are faithful costumers of theirs.
I really like the colors and since they are super comfy I can't wait to go out and try them tomorrow morning! What do you guys think?

Believe it or not but who do you think woke me up this morning? Those godamn flies of course! I really thought I'd killed all of them but DUDE they are sneaky...
My dad introduced me to the incredibly amazing taste of a new kind of coffee out of the Nespresso machine. It's called a "Ristretto" and it's basically two shots of espresso mixed with foamed milk. It's stronger than the regular coffee latte I usually have, but it's really good.
My dad and I are going out running soon and today we're probably running a little bit further than I usually would, around 13-15 km. Later today I think we're going to Stenungsund, partly in order for us to find a not too crowded place for me to learn how to drive and then I also need a couple of things from the mall.
Around 5 today my grandma is coming visiting and later tonight Rebecca will get dropped off at my place so we can get ready for the night. We're going to Mathilda's at 8ish to pregame and then later end the night at Haddocks!

Nothing is worse than waking up from the terrible sound of an alarm clock. But honestly waking up from annoying flies during summer holidays when you could have slept in is almost worse. So I decided to go and kill some today because they were all over the bunk room, haha...
Other than that I've worked out and did some strength and stretching before Vilma and I went for a quick swim and the water was surprisingly warm. Later dad and I drove some in a neighborhood close to our house and it's going really well. Now we just had dinner the whole family together and are watching a movie. I'm kinda tired, so I might actually just go to bed soon.

Hey friends!
Since my parents weren't at home yesterday Vilma, Josefine and I decided to make tacos for dinner and we also invited Rebecca over. The tacos were super good and later around 7 Josefine and Vilma left to hang out with their friends and Evelina came over to hang out with Rebecca and I.
We mixed drinks that we had on the porch that I wrote about yesterday. We ended up going to Sebastian's and since the two of us are basically neighbors it's very close. His house was open yesterday so we hung out there all night drinking with 10,11 other boys and had a really good time.
Right now my sisters and I are stuck in traffic on our way to Tjörn. It rained all last night, so it's super flooded which caused a lot of traffic.
Hopefully we will get there in not too long though.
Tomorrow night I'm going out with my favorite party twin, Linn, Mathilda and some of their friends to Haddocks! The schedule says that Haddocks "is going bananas" - so hopefully it will be a lot of fun. Rebecca is joining us as well and she's never been to Haddocks or met any of my friends from Tjörn, so therefore I'm extra excited!

Good morning sunshines!
If I was a someone in my own surrounding today I would be so annoyed since I'm in a FUCKING AMAZING MOOD TODAY! I literally woke up at 7 with a smile on my face this morning for absolutely no reason at all. I went for my morning run in order to get rid of some energy, but yet I received even more.
I took a quick shower and then it was time for me and dad to drive. I've been driving a lot recently since my first lesson is coming up in the beginning of August!
I tried to text and call Sebastian multiple times in an attempt to wake him up but he is so lazy - we are going swimming today and I wanna go now!
Since the weather was warm this morning I put on a loose long dress over a bathing suit with some sun glasses.

We just got back a couple of hours ago and I met up with Evelina immediately for some tanning and swimming in Sisjön. Now I just had dinner with my family and tonight we're going to the movies to watch the Great Gatsby. Since I totally LOVE both the movie and the book and my family hasn't seen it yet we decided to watch it tonight, so therefore I'm super excited! I have to get ready now. Talk to you all later!

How was your day yesterday? Anything exciting?
I spent the day with the one and only Andreas and had a super fun day. He took me out in his grandpa's BEAUTIFUL boat and we (Andreas) rode it out to this island where we hung out for a few hours talking, laughing, had lunch and did some jumping from a cliff. Or actually Andreas was prolly more involved in that last part than I was...
The weather was a little unstable but since it was a decently warm day, a little fog didn't kill us. I had a really nice day with this cutie and hope to hang out soon again!

Spring snabbt
Hi!
This morning I realized how much I love to work out, it's like an addiction to me. I need that special amount of exercise everyday both for my body and soul. I'm also the kind of person that wouldn't stay satisfied with 30 minutes of walking - I need a real workout that makes me tired. I'd rather be dying after a workout than getting the feeling that I could have gone harder. Therefore running is always the most preferable kind of workout to me, with either company or music. I usually run everything between 5-10 km, but usually around 8.
The feeling after a workout is always so amazing too. I always do some strength and stretching and then I'm done. I almost always work out in the mornings so that I can feel that I'm done for the day early.

Hey folks!
Being here at the beach house with my family only to relax is probably exactly what I need right now. And believe me when I say that I really don't mind it, it's just that time to relax to me also means time to think and that's what this post will be about. I'm not sure how much I told you about how hard on me it was to leave California, but it really was. It's like I've been denying it since the day I arrived back in Sweden because I know how sad it makes me. I thought that spending time with all of my friends here, go out and do stuff would make me forget about the whole California thing and believe me when I say that it did, in fact for moment I thought that was actually just it - I was "over" California.
Unfortunately it was harder than I expected and when I don't stay super busy, which I've basically been trying to do lately, the feelings that are hunting me down. I would describe it like they are always chasing me but they don't find time to catch up with me until I have time to think. I've never been in love but I would describe it like I once fell in love with California and am in the process to get over it, maybe? I don't know. But in the end of the day I know I need to face it in order to get over it and it takes patience, which is the one thing in the world I lack the most.
Anyway I miss America, California, Palo Alto, my host family, my friends, my school, the heat, the golden beaches, the city lights, the language, the surfers, the life guards, the nature, the people, the houses, the parties, having a Starbucks on every freaking corner, the roadtrips and sososo much more... Well it sucks!
BUT I have a WONDERFUL family and WONDERFUL friends who have been more than perfect these almost three weeks I've been home and I'm indescribably greatful for that.
Since the weather literally is the best in years right now, I couldn't ask for more. This day has begun really well too, with some blogging and my morning latte in the sun. When I've finished I'm going for a run before it's most likely time to hit the beach.
Tomorrow Andreas is hitting the road to Tjörn and we're going swimming. He's the kind of annoying person who has been working his ass of lately and therefore spent zero time in the sun and yet he will for sure be tanner than me, which is embarrassing as fuck since I lived in California all last year... Oh well, I have to make sure to get some color today in an attempt to catch up with him.

Good-bajs Smögen
Hey!
We left Kungshamn/Smögen in the middle of the day yesterday after a couple of hours in the sun. The weather was absolutely perfect all weekend so that was amazing. Smögen was a gorgeous place, so I'm sure I'll be back at some point.
Frida dropped me off at Stenungsund where my parents picked me up and we went to our beach house at Tjörn together. We had a super good dinner my mom made on the porch in the sun. Since my sisters had other plans, it was only the three of us.
This morning my dad and I went running and now Vilma arrived as well so we are going out with the boat later the four of us and will probably bring food for dinner, so I'm excited for that.

I'm gonna go ahead and NOT put last night in the winning column... It was just one of those nights where the music was way too much Håkan Hellström and way too loud, where people were way too drunk and GROSS guys didn't get what "GET THE HELL OF ME" means. Dude if I was interested I probably wouldn't keep elbowing you in the chest.
Parties and nights out are always what you make out of it, but last night I felt zero motivation to even try. Oh well, we all have those. Look at this beautiful view of the Smögen dock though - so pretty!

GPSen svängde, men inte vi
Hi friends!
It took us a while get here yesterday, since Hanna and I was struggling with the maps but finally, we made it. The place we are staying at is a super good deal because it was very cheap but yet a lot of room with 8 beds even though we actually just paid for 4. We share kitchen and toilet with a bunch of other people, but since it's only 2 nights that's fine.
We took the car around Kungshamn and Smögen in order to discover the place so that we would know how to get around more easily. Then we went shopping for food and such to later make Tacos for dinner, that we had with some wine in the sun on the porch.
Later we went out to this night club, Harry's, which was SO MUCH FUN. If you have never been there, you should really go since it was good music and very crowded with a lot of fun people. Last night John De Sohn played there as well, which made it extra fun.
We met a couple of nice guys who invited us to an after party at their super nice boathouse with their own dock etc.
Right now we're hanging out in the sun and listening to music. The weather is so hot today -it's insane, it's almost like a completely different country. Linn just left because she is going to Stockholm tomorrow so it's only Frida, Hanna and I.

Right now I'm hanging out in the sun as always when it's nice out. I just had the best snack ever - peanut butter with banana. It's something that I picked up in the US (of course) and it is a snack that goes great with cold milk - which is the drink I have with EVERY meal. The amount of milk I drink everyday is outrageous, in fact I would probably prefer a guy who bought me a glass of milk opposed to a drink at a club...
ANYWAY, it's a great snack that isn't too unhealthy if you stick with a natural and organic peanut butter. It also keeps you full for a long time. Other healthy snacks I eat a lot is sundried bananas and nuts.
I'm still at Tjörn, but we're driving back to Gothenburg in a couple of hours. On Friday Frida, Hanna and Linn Mohlin invited me to come with them to SMÖGEN for the first time in my life. My baby Anna will also come down to join us later! I've never been there before but I've heard it's supposed to be really nice. Ever been there?

All of you Swedes out there got to be thinking the same thing as me about this sunny weather - like, can you even remember last time we had these many sunny days in a row before? I can't.
Mommy, Vilma, Josefine and I packed a lunch and spent this entire day on the beach and now I went with Vilma to a school so that she could make some hoops.
A sunny day like this really puts you in a better mood, doesn't it? Where did you guys spend your day? Maybe watching soccer somewhere in Gothenburg since this is the week of Gothia cup?

Bakning à la Viggo och Tilly
Hi!
Yesterday Vilma and I decided to bake some chocolate chip cookies together and they turned out yummi. But I ain't gonna lie - the cookie dough is actually even better... It's always like that for some reason.
We had the freshly baked cookies together with cold milk and watched the movie "Pitch Perfect" with mommy. The movie was entertaining, but a little too predictable for my taste.
I believe that the weather is supposed to be nice out today, so hopefully we can go to a beach somewhere which would be fun. TOTALLY LOVING THIS SWEDISH SUMMER WEATHER SO FAR! I'm impressed!

Hey friends!
Made any exciting plans for the rest of the summer recently?
As you know I'm the kinda girl who LOVES to stay busy, meet new people and do fun things all the time. So therefore, an exchange student year suited me very well. But I could never imagine that my life after my arrival in Sweden would be even busier. It's been so much fun and I have had an ABSOLUTELY GREAT time with all of my friends whom I've missed sososo much!! I have literally had plans everyday/night for every single day for two weeks. So my family brought me out to Tjörn for a couple of relaxing days and believe me - even Matilda needs it. It's just the type of place where the internet doesn't work whatsoever (needed to go to the beach to post this, haha), where you for sure will find one and another spider in the shower, where the toilet literally smells like shit and where you have to make coffee out of a 30 year old coffee maker, opposed to the Nespresso machine back at home.
BUT I love it - I grew up here and have been here every summer since I was born. The life is simpler, but super relaxing! Yesterday we hade shrimps for lunch in the sun all together, which was the first meal together all of us since we got back from Newport Beach. Since Josefine's boyfriend Love is with us (who by the way owns a motor cycle) they got to have the new bunk room, but Vilma and I are going to spend the next night out there. Vilma and I spent a couple of hours on the beach, went for a power walk and went to Kållekär for some candy and watched a movie together with mommy last night.
Right now I'm having my morning coffee after almost 13 hours of sleep - ah, such a nice feeling! I don't know what we're doing today, but sometimes that's fine too...
But I do have SUPER FUN plans for next weekend, but I'll tell you about those later.

Vinna eller försvinna
Hi beauties!
I told you all about the pool party I was going to last night with Linn and her boyfriend, Felix. It was at Felix friend, Magnus, house in Hovås and it was a gorgeous place, with beautiful view and indoor pool in the basement. Felix and Linn picked me up and later we also picked Malin, Nikki and Klara up on our way there. We literally arrived during sunset - so beautiful. Unfortunately I didn't take a lot of pictures last night, but I did get a couple of the girls and one of the pool.
We mingled and got to know each other for a couple of hours until it (finally) was time to jump into the pool. Everyone went in and we girls didn't wanna dip our hair but let's just say that the guys didn't really get that part, since I was thrown in after 2 seconds whether I liked it or not.
My girlfriends was done after about an hour, but I wasn't - I was literally like a dolphin yesterday and played for HOURS just like when I was young, with a couple of guys. We had a fight and the basic concept was to throw balls at each other and throw each other into the water... Competition-Matilda was on and she wasn't gonna give up in the first place...
Later I challenged a random guy in a dance competition and I had Joel and Richard by my side - such an amazing team, holy shit. We won it all of course! I had SUCH fun night and got home pretty late, but since I won both the ball fight in the water and the dance off my night was complete.

Now I gotta run, because I have to catch a bus to Tjörn and my lovely family!

Good morning ladies and gentlemen!
I've been super tired lately, partly because I'm still not over my cold but also since I have been sleeping bad as well. But then again - it's summer holidays!
The fact that I received A BUNCH of really mean comments/email on my latest posts isn't a surprise to me at all - I expected it. I'm not stupid, of course I know what these famous guys are doing on their tours. So if you are going to tell me that anonymously through a comment/email and also say a bunch of really mean things to me only because you can, then don't - put your energy on those people you do like instead, because that's what I do. Therefore I didn't even comment seriously responds back.
Yesterday after having dinner with my family I got ready and met up Evelina, Jasmine and Rebecca at Evelina's. We went out to a couple of places in the city to later get picked up by Sebastian and end our night at a house party with him and Gustav. We danced all night long and it was so much fun.
I'm was gonna post a couple of pictures of my outfit of what I wore yesterday, but since I never can make up my mind I changed the shirt after haha but oh well, here you are...
I just woke up and had my morning cup of caffeine and later today I think I might work out and go swimming somewhere if the weather is still nice out. Linn invited me to a pool party with her boyfriend and his friends today, so that's what I'm doing tonight. I absolutely LOVE pool parties (who doesn't?) and never thought I would go to one again when I left California so I'm so happy she invited me.

Starstruck
Hi!
Even though it's been two days ago we hung out with "De Vet Du" I just can't get it out of my head. It was so much fun and I kept in touch with one of the guys, texting and stuff all day yesterday. He asked if I wanted to hang out last night as well since they only had on night in Gothenburg before they went south for their tour, but they had a pod cast for kanal5 and they got back pretty late and we both were SUPER tired fromthe night before, so I said no which really that was a bummer. He sent me one of his playlists though since he showed me some songs and we have the exact same taste in music... Since I didn't know a lot about them before Haddocks I just typed in their name on youtube and watched their videos - THEY ARE HILARIOUS! #STARSTRUCK
Frida and I had such nice night last night though, eating chocolate and watching the O.C from the beginning. I used to LOVE that TV-show a couple of years ago, but now it's been a while. I was in Newport, Orange County with the fam for a week just two weeks ago so it was super fun to watch it again since I recognized all the places. We fell asleep early and slept until 12, which was exactly what we needed. Sebastian picked me up and we went to Hovåsbadet with a bunch of friends for tanning and swimming.
I got back and went for a power walk with Rebecca and then I had dinner with my fam - salmon with gorgonzola and veggies, YUM!
Right now I'm listening to the playlist he sent me ♥ and blogging, but I have to jump into the shower and get ready for the night. I think I'm meeting up with Rebecca, Evelina and Jasmine soonish to go out later tonight!

Efterfest med "De vet du" - Kär i en kändis
Hi!
Let's just say that yesterday was PERFECT! My mom took me to pick up my iPhone in the morning and when I got home I started packing. Around 2pm Frida picked me up and we drove all the way up to Tjörn together. We went straight to the grocery store shopping for food and later arrived to my beach house and started unpacking. We sat on the porch in the sun listening to music and talking before we started prepping dinner that we later had on the porch as well.
Linn picked us up around 8 and we went to her friend, Nattis, house to pregame with a bunch of girls we hadn't met before but they were super sweet and it was fun to talk to all of them!
Around 11 we got to Haddocks and partied until around 1 when it was time for "DE VET DU" to perform! They were super good and every single one of them was super hot as well...
When they had finished the audience continued to party on the dock next to the water and about an hour later almost all of the girls left but Frida and I decided to stay because we were having so much fun and suddenly the "DE VET DU" guys appear from nowhere and start to party with everyone!!! Everyone wanted to talk to them/take pictures/dance/hook-up with them - it was insane!
Frida and I sat down for a while to rest our feet from dancing in high heels and "DE VET DU" guys comes up and started to talk to us and offer to buy us drinks. They were all super nice guys with heavy accents from Stockholm and they were SO HOT! We all decided to after party together and we had SUCH GREAT TIME - holy shit...
Right now Frida and I are basically asleep on the beach at Tjörn because the weather is beautiful and we had like one hour of sleep last night - but let's face it, we after-partied with a bunch of famous (and hot) guys when EVERYONE wanted to hang out with them - we're lucky as fuck...

Good morning to all the beautiful souls out there!
What's your plans for today? Anything exciting?
Since I'm still sick with a sore throat I haven't been able to workout lately and I really hate it. Since both my body and soul are used to get a decently hard workout every day I really HATE being sick.
BUT no workouts in the morning means cuddling on the couch with a hot coffee latte, listening to COUNTRY music and blogging, so oh well...
While blogging ALL of my favorite American boys hit me up and wanted to skype - so much fun to talk to them again - Walker, Weston, Tyler, Skyler, Will, Taylor. They are SUPER SWEET (and hot) boys and I'm so happy we can keep in touch! MUCH LOVE TO YOU, BADP'S!
My parents also decided to give me an iPhone for the first time in my life - I'm so happy! To quote my Facebook status: I basically lived next to Steve Jobs house and in the "APPLE CITY", Palo Alto, for a year, yet no iPhone in my hands but a samsung galaxy... But now I have a MY OWN WHITE BABY and I couldn't be happier. All of you android users out there definitely know what I'm talking about!
I received a few comments/email just recently, mostly asking questions about my exchange student year - KEEP SENDING ME QUESTIONS FOLKS! If there's anything you would like to know - after all, I'm an expert when it comes to basically everything that comes with being an exchange student now and I find it SO MUCH FUN to help all of you out!!! The plans for today are super exciting, because my favorite girl, Frida, is driving us up to Tjörn again (where the weather apparently is supposed to be a lot better than here in the city) and we are spending the day to later meet up with my lovely LINN and her friends to pregame for "De vet du" at Haddocks tonight! I don't know a lot about them since I was in Cali all last year, but apparently they are supposed to be pretty good.

Hi!
I realized I never posted a picture of my whole outfit that I wore yesterday. This cute, tiny dress is from "American Rag" and last night was the first time I had it on. I bought it in the US and there is a huge difference when it comes to clothing there. I felt that we rarely dressed up for events like you're expected to do in Sweden. I definitely went to a lot of parties in the US, but people could be wearing sweats and UGGS and we drank beer... Don't misunderstand me - it was super relaxing and fun as well but I would be lying if I said I haven't missed these dress up nights with the girls making fancy drinks together before parties!

Hi loves!
Last night was so much fun! My dad dropped me off at Linn's house on Tjörn around 8 and then we pregamed until 11 to leave the house for the club, Haddocks in Skärhamn. I've never gone to a club before since I'm only 17 but Linn lent me her ID and it worked! We actually do look alike a lot! The club was super crowded and it's right next to the water and since the weather was so nice yesterday it was so pretty!
We danced, laughed and partied until 3 and then we got back to Linn's house where I spent the night. I had such an incredibly fun night with Linn and all of her friends whom I didn't know at all at the beginning of the night, but ended up connecting really well with later on. They all are super sweet girls!

Hi!
Right now I'm listening to my country music playlist on Spotify and blogging. Country is really something I never would listen to before I went to California, but I totally LOVE it now - so relaxing. I know most of you rather stick to your house music, but really y'all should give it a shot!
I spent all day yesterday with the fam at Tjörn, which is where we have our beach house. The weather was absolutely gorgeous all day, so we spent most of the time in the sun. When I was in the US my parents hired a couple of guys to build a new bunk room and it's almost done - look how pretty?
Around 5, Josefine and I picked Rebecca up and we drove together back to Gothenburg. Later that night all of the girls had dinner at Evelina's and we all ended up going to Rebecca's house and the guys came over for a kickback. It was still pretty warm outside so we brought speakers and had a really nice time, talking and some people smoke hookah.

Tonight I got invited to my friend Linn's house to pregame with her and a bunch of other girls to later enter the one and only night club on Tjörn - how fun? I'm literally SO STOKED!
